Gustav Lo
Gustav Lo, MD

Dr. Gustav Lo is the Medical Director of Quick Care Walk-In Medical Center. Established in 1990, Quick Care has grown into an established primary practice, with locations in Petoskey and Boyne City, focusing on family practice, urgent care, and occupational medicine. Dr. Lo has degrees from both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, and has been practicing medicine for almost 30 years. He has served on the National Asthma Education Advisory Panel as well as being a sought after speaker for Schering-Plough, Glaxo-SmithKline, Wyeth-Ayerst, and Pfizer. His personable bedside manner and wealth of experience are second to none in the community.

Ariana Spiewak, FNP
Ariana Spiewak, FNP

Ariana joined our Quick Care team as our Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017. The first in her family to go to college, she knew she wanted a career that let her engage with working class populations. A recent alumna (MSN 2017) from the University of Michigan School of Nursing (UMSN) primary care family nurse practitioner program with a concentration in Occupational Health Nursing, she does just that through her work with our team at Quick Care. Her motivation to pursue Occupational Health Nursing came from an understanding of labor related health concerns. Most of her family worked in the trades – her father was an Electrician – and she sees Occupational Health Nursing as a way to serve the community she came from. In 2016 as a student, she found a way to provide care to working class populations by volunteering at the Student-Run Free Clinic (SRFC) in Pinckney, Michigan. While completing her MSN degree, Spiewak worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Beaumont Hospital. Ariana is a hard-working, dedicated member of our team and we’re thankful to have her on our Quick Care team.

Ryan Planck, PA-C
Ryan Planck PA-C

Ryan has been practicing as our PA-C since 2010. Ryan graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelors from Lake Superior State University, then earned his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University. He has been with our practice since his clinicals in 2008, and he has great appreciation for the interactive style of medicine practiced at Quick Care and Urgent Care. Ryan is passionate to provide a much needed service in our smaller Michigan community, and it shows in his skill of honing in on the medical solutions our patients need most. He is also an extremely talented chef, and you can find him cooking at home with his two daughters any chance he gets.

Jessica Wallace, Pa-C
Jessica Wallace PA-C

Jessica studied at University of Detroit Mercy’s Direct Admit Program for Physician Assistant and received both her Bachelors in Biology and her Masters in Physician Assistant, graduating in August of 2015. Her first position was as an Inpatient Hospitalist yet her desire for helping others led her to focus on assisting patients with the management of chronic disease - preventing hospitalization whenever possible. Jessica’s enthusiasm for making a difference in the lives of those around her is evident in her compassionate and attentive patient care at Petoskey Urgent Care.

Urgent Care

Whether it's a cut that needs stitches, a back or joint injury or anything else you need treatment for RIGHT NOW, Urgent Care is always ready for your minor emergency. Our on-site x-ray, lab, and wound-care facilities offer more complete care for emergencies than a regular doctor’s office. Our providers are experts in wound care and closures (which means wherever the cut, we’ll fix it and make it look good). We also provide mini-surgical procedures like removing cysts, boils and skin lesions.

Primary Care

Many people don't know that half of Urgent Care's practice is Primary Care - our providers are the "family doctor" for over 2500 regular patients. We also offer discounts for our primary care patients with no health insurance (see below). Whether you have long-term medical conditions or shorter-term health problems, our medical providers are ready to help. We perform comprehensive physical examinations for work, school or general health prevention.

Make an Appointment

Many of our patients don’t realize that Urgent Care isn’t just a walk-in clinic— we take appointments too! Of course, we’re always happy to see walk-ins, but if you have limited time, an appointment is best.
